Breast Augmentation Information – What You Really Need to Know
All women of any age are becoming attracted to a ‘boob job. Non-biased information on breast augmentation is rare and what you find on the internet is collected from one of commercial companies or from another. Simple, easy to understand and non-biased information about plastic surgery is what this website will offer.
What are the main reasons women want surgery to increase the size of their breasts?
Only cosmetic – Big breasts are often viewed as desirable
For emotional reasons – often women who aren’t feeling attractive enough or feel satisfied with their current chest measurements may have an enhancement
Different types of Implants
Modern day breast augmentation is performed using silicone gel implants or the saline implants. A rough and smooth gel implant is now the norm to lower the chance of contracture of the capsule (see the following).
Implant Shape:
Implants can be round or tear-drop shaped.
Round implants are more popular and immediately noticeable as an implant.
Teardrop-shaped dresses are more natural and are requested more by ladies who don’t wish to reveal their beauty to the world.
Incisions
In the natural fold or 脫毛 crease that lies below the breast, this is the most common and current methods that leave a mark which is barely visible.
The lower border of the aureola
Through the armpit
Through the navel
Your physician would talk through with you which choice is the best.
Implant Placement:
Over the muscle over the muscle Implants are placed on the pectoral muscles underneath the fat tissue of the natural breast. This technique is most effective for women with sufficient breast tissue to cover the implant’s edges.
Under the muscle Implants are inserted under the pectoral muscles. This option is much better for women who don’t have a lot of breast tissue that can cover the edges of implants.
Anesthesia:
Breast Augmentation can be done under general anesthesia, intravenous sedation with local anesthetics, or both.
Charges:
The total price of breast augmentation surgery can vary starting at $6000/PS4000. The operating room expenses, and the cost for implants should be included in the total cost.
Longevity:
Most breast implants will need to get replaced at some stage in the patient’s lifetime. Implants that are modern can last for around 15 years. Additionally, you must consider that extreme weight fluctuation (including those caused by pregnancy) can affect the appearance of the breasts as time passes. It is quite possible that in the future, you’ll want to deal with drooping or other aesthetic issues by having breast revision surgery.
The procedure:
The person is marked for surgical treatment. The surgeon will make marks on your breasts, as well as the surrounding areas. These marks include incision lines and 脫毛 the standard measurements the doctor uses as a guideline during the surgery.
Anesthesia is administered and the patient is prepared for surgery. You will be given general anesthesia, or sometimes, “twilight” sedation via IV.
If you have a strong stomach or even a strong desire to know more, I’ve added an outstanding video clip on my site showing exactly what happens in a breast augment operation.
Risks and complications
Despite the fact that the problem rates are low, the most commonly encountered risks comprise of blood loss, bruising and tissue death, loss or 脫毛 increase of feeling, asymmetry, implant rupture and capsular contracture (a swelling of the breasts due to the development of scar tissue surrounding the implant). Your doctor will review the additional risks that might be present in your specific situation.
Recovery and downtime:
Since there are several alternatives for incisions and implant placement, the time to recover can vary extensively. Typically, however you will require not less than two days of rest after the surgery. After that, you’ll need some days of less activity. Most patients are able to go back to work after a period of up to one week. In the meantime, soreness and inflammation may be present for 3-4 weeks.
