I only attended 2 card shows in 2020, the last one coming in February. I did 2 shows in Jan. and another this summer in JAX. I picked up a large lot of about 500 Calbee cards on Yahoo Auction last week. In hindsight, with the Project 2020 hype and his untimely passing spiking demand, I should have purchased the Bob Gibson rookie last year. Months went by, and I finally tore off the plastic wrap late last fall. Get some of those full-page plastic page protectors and slide them in. I will be looking to buy a nice, big binder (or two?) to house the set, and I’ll need to get more 9-pocket pages. I still will hold off from attending until I am vaccinated- I have elderly parents and I’d like to avoid passing anything on to them. And I haven’t looked at prices lately, but yeah, I’m thinking that you might want to hold off a bit on that Bob Gibson. We highlight products and services you might find interesting.
The card tables at my flea market seem to focus more on the newest products and Tim Hortons cards. However, it was unable to taste that amount of success as enjoyed by its other peers like Nissan X-Trail and Honda CR-V, despite having a much more capable chassis under its skin. The “Call Me, Maybe” mini collection I started in earnest in 2020 did not grow very much. The Call Me, Maybe mini collection?
