Holly Willoughby is left red-faced by awkward comment about 'pop ups'

instantly regretted going off-script on Wednesday morning, when she made a slip-up about adult films.

This Morning’s host was left a little red-faced by her choice of words when she talked to a group of mums who have made a pornographic film suitable for young people.

Speaking about accessing explicit content online, mum-of-three Holly, 38, awkwardly complained that things often ‘pop up’ while watching.

She said: ‘It’s so accessible on any of these devices, you click on one thing and before you know it ten other things have popped up.’

Realising the cheeky innuendo, Holly pulled a face and joked: ‘Hmm, bad choice of word…’

Holly and co-host Philip Schofield were speaking to Channel 4 documentary makers Sarah-Louise Pritchard and Jane Chelliah.

The mums have said they were so disgusted by hardcore porn online that they decided to produce and direct an adult film they’d be happy for their teens to watch.

The women helped direct and produce a film as part of the program Mums Make Porn in a bid to create porn that is realistic and promotes positive attitudes towards sex.

Three of the mums who were behind the camera appeared on Good Morning Britain earlier on Wednesday.

They said: ‘It shows real sex, real bodies, real people. It shows the lead up, the build up, what it takes to begin those relationships, it’s communication, it’s kissing, it’s connection, and then, yes, it does show sex.’

Having a laugh: Holly didn’t realise what she’d said until it came out of her mouth

GMB host Piers Morgan took issue with the film, which is an 18-R, because it is not legal for an under-18 to watch without supervision, despite the motivation behind the project.

The three-part series follows their journey into the adult entertainment industry, which sees one mother so distressed by internet porn she quits the project altogether.

One mother is reduced to tears by the violent, rape-based content they find and another throws up.

Making a porno: Mums Sarah Smith, Anita Smith, Emma Morgan also appeared on Good Morning Britain to talk about the film on Wednesday
